These Terms of Service apply when you use The Romance Chapter website or purchase products from us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

The Romance Chapter is an independent bookseller operated by Hannah Gellatly as a sole trader in the United Kingdom.

We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as possible. Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your device or screen.
All products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund where necessary.
Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£). The total price of your order, including any applicable delivery charges, will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Payment must be successfully completed before an order can be processed.
Orders
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation using the contact details provided at checkout.
Please check the information you provide when ordering, including your delivery address, and contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error.
We reserve the right to cancel an order where we are unable to fulfil it, for example because an item is unavailable or there has been an obvious pricing or listing error. If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot fulfil, an appropriate refund will be issued.

Some products may be dispatched directly by one of our trusted distribution partners.
Pre-orders
Products offered for pre-order may have an estimated publication or release date. These dates can change for reasons outside our control. Where a significant change affects your order, we will provide updated information where appropriate.
